Up until yesterday January 14, versuon, I had been using an older version of Skype for Windows I had been doing this because months ago when the newest version came out that winxows very different from the windws versionthere were a number of things I didn't like -- the main one being the removal of the "folders" or "lists" function for my contacts.
For my job as a transcriber, I have literally hundreds of contacts, and it is hugely helpful for me to keep them organized by semester, class, etc. With the older version, I could place my sidebar foor I wanted it and it would be that way every time I opened Skype. This is a minor annoyance but frustrating nonetheless. Anyhow, Versioh had been getting that popup message that I needed to update to the newer version ever since I installed the older version, but I would just hit "cancel" or "no" or whatever it was.
But yesterday, the "cancel" option wasn't there. It made me update, odl it would just close Skype down. Well, as I said, I use Skype daily for my job. So, I updated it. Is this still possible? There is not much else we can do in regards to functionality and design. Wundows there is a feature change you do not like, its best you as a user submit feedback to the engineers so they can consider it for improvement of the product.
